Make tracks to Barre City Old Labor Hall and expect a rootin' tootin' good time to benefit the Vermont Progressive Party and Barre City Progressive Party Committee.
Join us on SUNDAY, April 6 to sample more than a dozen chilis and vote for your favorites, cheer on “lava” (spicy vegetarian chili) eating contestants, and share a community meal of chili, cornbread and fixin's. Then, get your empty chili bowl read (in the spirit of tea leaves) and shop Just Food Hub's display of ethically sourced foods and support valuable community work.
All are welcome, none turned away. Cost of entry is a suggested donation of $10 per person. (Unless you've got some change to spare. Feel free to open that wallet wide and help pay for others less fortunate!)
